Kadriorg Palace shines like a rainbow in the darkening skies that come from storms brewing off the Baltic Sea. The wind is fierce and cold in the autumn months, but the crowds are thin and layers are easy. Wandering the fish market and local Russian crafts are intensely satisfying without the hordes of Prague. Coffee houses are easy to find, and the amber shops are closing up for the winter (thankfully since most of it comes from Latvia anyway).
